Betting systems
Horse Racing Master > Betting systems
Betting systems have started to emerge ever since gambling was invented, and this is because people have always tried to maximize their gains. For example, horse racing systems help you gain an advantage over the bookmaker in order to make serious profits from this activity.
Next, the most popular betting systems are explained. However, you must remember that although some are safer, neither one can guarantee you success, especially if you are playing at impossible odds. There are three categories of systems at the moment:
The first one is positive progression betting, which is called like that because every time you win, your bet is increased. This technique is quite popular, and this is because you don’t require a large amount of money to start betting.
Then, there is insurance betting, which is the opposite of positive progression, and as you may already have guessed, your bet is decreased every time you place an unsuccessful bet. It’s considered the safest of all the systems, and that’s also the reasons why experts call it “playing it safe”.
The last category is negative progression betting. This is the one technique that increases your bet in case you lose. It requires a large bankroll, and this is its main disadvantage. The good side to it is that it tries to turn around a losing streak. Now, the most important betting systems are as follows:
THE GAMBLING FALLACY
This is a risky system, because it wrongly assumes that just because a card hasn’t shown, it will surely appear in the near future. Relying on this technique is highly risky, due to the fact that it takes for granted certain mathematical probabilities.
THE MARTINGALE SYSTEM
This takes for granted the fact that you will lose an infinite number of times, and it is considered a proof tested system. It is a negative progression system, and it is a very risky technique for which you need a high bankroll.
THE D’ALENBERT SYSTEM
It is similar to the Martingale system, only much safer. This will help you compensated your losses by betting higher after losing.
THE PARLAY SYSTEM
It is very popular in horse racing betting, and it is a progressive progression bet. It takes the profit from a bet and invests it into the following one, thus being a relatively safe technique, aiming to protect the winnings.
THE PAROLI SYSTEM
It is the opposite of the Martingale system, and the most important difference is that you don’t need a big bankroll.
THE 1-3-2-6 SYSTEM
This one is a positive progression technique. It takes for granted the fact that you can win four times in a row. If this indeed happens, you will dramatically increase your bankroll, but in the end, mathematics and probabilities are the ones that decide which one is the most successful of the above betting systems.
